Administrative records, 1925-1973.

Series 2-3, and 5 of record group RG 87-138 consist of three sets of records of the Marquette Branch Prison, Marquette, Michigan. The first set of records are financial records (1925-27, 1938-67), detailing the monthly operating costs of the prison. The second set of records is an inventory (1953), giving a detailed narrative account of every item within the prison. The final set of records are organizational charts (1965, 1973), showing administrative relations between the various offices and personnel within the prison.
